In partnership with Licking Park District, Anne Balogh offers a 3-session ornithology (April 11, 18 & 25) class on Ohio birds, including their biology, habits and habitats. Weather permitting, Anne introduces students to bird watching around the 316-acre park. Some light walking is involved.
The first two sessions are held at LCL's Downtown Newark location at 11am.
The third session on April 25 takes place at 10am and is held offsite at Infirmary Mound Park located at 4351 Lancaster Rd, Granville, OH 43023.
This in-person program is part of our lifelong learning series, Empowered Minds. The focus of this signature services is healthy aging and enrichment for the retirement-age citizens of Licking County. All adults are welcome and registration is free.
