Program Description

Event Details

Join us at the Octagon Earthworks, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to discuss some of the best nature-themed nonfiction. We will also explore additional resources through activities to deepen our understanding of the natural world. For December, copies of What an Owl Knows by Jennifer Ackerman are available at the Downtown Newark location and may also be accessed digitally.

Registration is requested for this session.  We will be conducting owl pellet dissection & microscope examination.

Maples & Manuscripts is a partnership between Licking County Library, the Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks, and Dillon State Park.
