Program Description

Event Details

Debbie Dach Sugarman, chair of the Holocaust Education Committee for Jewish Columbus, shares the powerful story of her father—a survivor of Auschwitz and the sole survivor of his family. In this moving presentation, Debbie recounts her journey to uncover her family’s history and reflects on the ongoing rise of antisemitism in today’s society. Join us for an important and timely discussion that connects past and present.

This event supports the exhibit Anne Frank: A History for Today, on display at LCL's Downtown Newark location from November 11 - December 14. The exhibit is generously funded by the Licking County Foundation.
