Special guest Karlie Waldrip, deaf children’s book author, and her deaf dog, Rhett, are joining us for a virtual visit during our Story Time. September is Deaf Awareness Month; both of Karlie’s books, I Deaf-initely Can, Rhett the Heeler and We Deaf-initely Can, Let the Adventures Begin, are written from Rhett’s perspective. The illustrator, also deaf, depicts sign language throughout the books.
