Event Details
Dr. Carla Corroto explores the "McDonaldization of Society," a sociological concept describing how the principles of the fast-food industry have come to dominate society. These highly rational systems often lead to irrational outcomes. You thought bureaucracy had red tape? Just wait until we supersize your paperwork!
Dr. Corroto earned a Ph.D. in Sociology from The Ohio State University and a master's degree in architecture from the University of Illinois, Chicago. She teaches community and human service focused courses at Otterbein University.
