Ashley Kulhanek discusses the spotted lanternfly (SLF) (Lycorma delicatula), a non-native invasive insect pest new to the United States. The spotted lanternfly was first detected in Ohio in October 2021 in Jefferson County. Ashley Kulhanek is a program coordinator and educator with OSU Extension in Medina, Ohio. She earned her M.S. degree in entomology from Ohio State University.
