Art historian and artist Sean Crum discusses the protestant secularism that created a new realistic art style in Holland, of which Rembrandt is the most famous practitioner. He also reviews how portraiture, landscape, still life and genre scenes all became important art forms.

This free, virtual program is part of our lifelong learning series Empowered Minds. The focus of this signature service is healthy aging and enrichment for the retirement-age citizens of Licking County. All adults are welcome.
