Event Details

Carl Gleditsch discusses the natural history and importance of Ohio's multitude of native bee species. Carl is an Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist and OSU Volunteer Pollinator Specialist. He has volunteered and taught classes with Columbus Metro Parks, Stratford Ecological Center, Delaware County Preservation Parks and the City of Dublin. He graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with Bachelor of Science degrees in both Biology and Chemistry.

This free program is part of our lifelong learning series, Empowered Minds. The focus of this signature service is healthy aging and enrichment for the retirement-age citizens of Licking County. All adults are welcome. Empowered Minds is supported by a sustaining gift from Robert Trimble Jr., a lifelong learner, and, in part, by Licking County Senior Levy. Donations are appreciated.
