Event Details
Established in 1988, the Licking County Emergency Management Agency is an offshoot of the Civil Defense Program of the 1950s, which later turned into Disaster Services. The agency is responsible for Homeland Security, the Regional Communications Center (911) and Safety Services operations throughout the County. Join representatives from the agency as they discuss their mission and the services provided to our county.
This free program is part of our lifelong learning series, Empowered Minds. The focus of this signature service is healthy aging and enrichment for the retirement-age citizens of Licking County. All adults are welcome. Empowered Minds is supported by a sustaining gift from Robert Trimble Jr., a lifelong learner, and, in part, by Licking County Senior Levy. Donations are appreciated.
