Event Details
Dr. Jason Slot presents some of the major events in earth history and human history involving fungi.
Dr. Slot is a Professor in the Department of Plant Pathology at Ohio State University. His areas of expertise include fungal evolutionary genomics, chemical and molecular ecology, and metabolism and transportomics. He earned a Ph.D. from Clark University, focusing on the molecular evolution of nitrate assimilation mechanisms in fungi.
This free program is part of our lifelong learning series, Empowered Minds. The focus of this signature service is healthy aging and enrichment for the retirement-age citizens of Licking County.
