Dr. Brad Jokisch explores the causes of Amazon rainforest destruction and highlights local, international and Indigenous efforts to protect it.

Dr. Jokisch is an Associate Professor of Geography at Ohio University. The author of numerous academic articles, he earned a Ph.D. from Clark University.

This free program is part of our lifelong learning series, Empowered Minds. The focus of this signature service is healthy aging and enrichment for the retirement-age citizens of Licking County.
