Aaron Keirns discusses Blackhand Gorge, the spectacular natural and historic gorge of the Licking River. His book, Black Hand Gorge: An Illustrated Guide, is available for purchase and signing at the time of the program.
Aaron Keirns is an award-winning author and book designer. He holds a degree in Anthropology from The Ohio State University and has worked as a writer, historian and college instructor. He is the author of several popular books on Ohio history and gives fascinating illustrated talks about his books to museums, libraries and historical groups all over Ohio.
This free program is part of our lifelong learning series, Empowered Minds. The focus of this signature service is healthy aging and enrichment for the retirement-age citizens of Licking County.
