Dr. Lew Ludwig offers an overview of current trends in Artificial Intelligence, including generative and predictive AI. This will be an interactive session utilizing tools like ChatGPT. Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptop or tablet; there will be a limited number of laptops available for use. 

Dr. Ludwig, the current director of the Center for Learning and Teaching at Denison University, is a nationally recognized speaker frequently invited to discuss generative AI. As a mathematics professor and faculty developer, he counsels instructors on innovative teaching methods for utilizing generative AI. 

Dr. Ludwig joined the Denison faculty in 2002; prior to this, he had visiting positions at Miami University and Kenyon College. He earned his doctorate at Ohio University. In 2013, he was awarded the Distinguished Teaching Award from the Ohio Section of the Mathematical Association of America.

This free program is part of our lifelong learning series, Empowered Minds. The focus of this signature service is healthy aging and enrichment for the retirement-age citizens of Licking County.
