What is it like to steer a loaded sled through mountainous Alaska with a team of dogs? How does a person take care of an Alaskan team of huskies? Musher Karen Land is excited to answer these questions and share her experiences during her visit to the Library. She'll bring along her Alaskan husky Noggin, too! Land is a three-time participant in the 1,000-mile Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race.
